ECIS is excited to bring you a dynamic and unique event for educators! Welcome to the 2023 Learning Festival, and for our inaugural event, we’re delighted to be at Antwerp International School in Belgium, 27-28 October. Interested in being part of it?
At ECIS we provide inclusive professional development opportunities, to create collaborative learning communities. We promote transformative, sustainable professional learning. Transformative professional learning at ECIS is always social and is about creative collaboration; We listen to each other’s stories, that lead us to establish cultures and communities of professional support. Sustainable learning moves us away from silver bullet content consumption, to continuing conversations and committing to small steps that transform learning in schools.
Together, these aspirations for transformative and sustainable learning find community through our courses and our SIGs and we will be celebrating these at our Festival of Learning.The ECIS Festival of Learning in Antwerp will be an opportunity for professional learning, networking, and leading learning through workshop facilitation.
The objectives of the learning festival will include:
- Sharing strategies and new perspectives for designing and implementing effective teaching, that supports student learning and growth.
- Learning about pedagogical innovation and current practices in leading learning.
- Connecting with other educators, to build professional relationships and expand professional networks.
- Celebrating effective instructional practices that engage and empower learners.
