ECIS position papers are short essays that present our position and/or recommendation(s) on a given issue in education and/or the business of education. We examine ideas carefully before choosing a topic and developing our argument, and we strive to adhere to an evidence-based approach in our framing of the issue and subsequent recommendation(s). We do not expect our opinion to be espoused by all, and we welcome professional debate in this regard.
Position papers are the result of attending to professional-level dialogue on issues at conferences, as well as on social media and in print and mainstream media.
