Middle Leader Café: Quadrants of Collaboration
28 March 2022 : 17:00 GMT
How is your team collaborating? Is there a high level of trust? Is there a high level of precision in terms of the use of structures and protocols to guide leadership? In the paper Leading Collaborative Professionalism, Andy Hargreaves and Michael T O’Connor highlighted the concept of collaborative professionalism. It refers to how teachers and other educators transform teaching and learning together to work with all students to develop fulfilling lives of meaning, purpose and success excellence in student learning. The “Quadrants of Collaboration” was presented to illustrate the need to build deeper and stronger relationships of trust, support and solidarity throughout the school, network or system to have impactful collaboration.
During this session, the “Quadrants of Collaboration” will be unpacked and collectively participants will suggest strategies to address each. This session will be facilitated by Nancy Lhoest-Squicciarini, Head of Community Relations the International School of Luxembourg.
