Creating Inclusive Classrooms for LGBTQ+ Youth
13 October 2022
Audience: The presentation will be more applicable for Secondary (6-12) Educators – teachers, counselors, admin, staff – but all are welcome 🙂
Join us for an interactive session for an introduction to common terms, pronouns, and respectful language to help us navigate our work with LGBTQ+ students. We will chat about heteronormativity, cisnormativity, gender and sexuality, representation, and most importantly, how to support students by creating safe and inclusive environments for them in your classrooms!
