ECIS/ICMEC 3-part webinars on Keeping Children Safe in Education: The importance of handling low-level concerns to safeguarding children in schools
When facing a case of child abuse and exploitation, schools must make increasingly hard decisions that involve the protection of the children involved, the rights of the offender, and even understanding whether the incident has indeed happened or what can be done.
In addition, Individual case management can directly affect the culture within the school community, impacting how peers interact with each other and all children’s ability to speak out. In this discussion we will approach how addressing low-level concerns can make decision-making easier and support the prevention of child abuse and exploitation.
