CHANGE through Partnership or CtP is designed to support your school in moving from a classic model of service to one of community partnership. CtP will consist of a fall conference and a spring conference with more support during the school year.

School Hubs & ONLINE
The goal is to both foster relationships between your school and partner organisations so that communities we aim to partner with are valued through equitable community partnerships. This is a dramatic shift from what we traditionally have called service learning. Furthermore, we aim to provide authentic student leadership opportunities within CtP through student-led and expert-guided participation.
The October conference will happen in four stages as conference sessions:
- Session 1 – Participants will unpack traditional service learning to understand where weaknesses exist.
- Session 2 – Next, we will share and develop our model of partnerships.
- Session 3 – After that, participants will learn skills for creating successful partnerships with communities, organizations and private industry.
- Session 4 – Finally, participants will close with training regarding the service project itself. We anticipate your students will be both knowledgeable and have skills at the ready when they take on projects of their own.
Attending the conference can be done flexibly, as we will be arranging hubs around the world where some schools will host, and some schools will travel to. It is also possible for your school to attend on your own via Zoom or even through distance learning, should this be required. While some schools will meet in person together, the main programme will take place through Zoom including all key sessions and student music performances.
Conference registration begins at £450 for up to 10 students. More than 10 students will follow a similar formula at a price reduction.
